St Anne’s Pilgrimage to the Holy Land

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

6th – 15th September

In the footsteps of Jesus
The Holy Land must surely be the most desired of all Christian pilgrims. Countless millions of pilgrims have continuously journeyed to this land – during the bad times as well as the good – and still do, over the two millennia of Christian history. Since the first day of that empty tomb – where a miraculous Resurrection from a cruel and dishonourable death was witnessed and reported – pilgrims have gone to that sacred spot to ponder, wonder and believe. Here, pilgrims seek to walk in the very footsteps of the Lord, to visit and meditate in those places where Jesus lived and carried out his ministry.

Contact will be made in the coming week with pilgrims regarding the Balance. There will be a meeting for Pilgrims in St Anne’s regarding arrangements on: Tuesday, 24th August at 7.00 pm.

Friday, July 9th, 2010

freshness become inseparable. In one of his spiritual books,
entitled Heart of the World, the theologian Hans Urs von Balthasar has an eloquent passage about the differentness of God. (more…)
